Overview

Slotify is a Chrome extension that helps users find overlapping free time across Google Calendars.

Permissions Disclosure

Slotify requests read-only access to your Google Calendar data through the OAuth scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly. This permission allows Slotify to:

• Read your free/busy availability data for your calendars and any calendars shared with you.
• Calculate overlapping time slots across multiple calendars to suggest mutually available meeting times.

Slotify cannot create, edit, or delete any calendar events. It never accesses event titles, descriptions, attendee lists, or other personal details.

Data Access

Slotify uses the Google Calendar API to read the free/busy availability data of all calendars that you have visibility into within your Google account. This includes your own calendar and any shared calendars to which you have access.

The extension retrieves this information directly from Google using OAuth 2.0 authorization. Slotify only accesses time-slot availability (start and end times of busy periods) and does not access or store event names, descriptions, attendees, or other personal details. The data is used solely to calculate overlapping availability between participants.

Data Storage

Slotify does not store, transmit, or retain any user data on external servers. All processing happens locally within your browser session.

Data Sharing

Slotify does not sell, rent, trade, or share any personal information with third parties.

Security

Slotify relies on Google’s secure OAuth 2.0 system to authenticate users. You can revoke Slotify’s access to your Google account anytime via your Google Account security settings.
